OBITUARY: Joseph A. Wynn Dies at Hospital Joseph Adair Wynn, 72, Somerton, died at Parkview Baptist Hospital last night. He had been a caterpillar operator for the L.A. Consaul Produce Co. for many years. Born Oct. 27, 1892, in Crowder, Okla., Wynn came to Yuma in 1936. He served in the U.S. Army 90th Division during World War I and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 47, Somerton. Survivors include his widow, Nora, of the home; a son Albert L. Wynn, Yuma; five daughters, Mrs. Frances M. Smith and Mrs. Louise Noble, both of Somerton, Mrs. Jane Raulston, Yuma, and Mrs. Jo Ann Kennedy, Farmington, N.M., and Mrs. Rebecca Wolf, Tucson; and a brother, John H., Los Angeles. Memorial services will be held at Johnson Mortuary Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Don Butler, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Desert Lawn Memorial Park with military rites by the American Legion. Friends may call at Johnson Mortuary Friday between 4 and 8 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of remembrances gifts to the City of Hope be made in his name.
