NOTEWORTHY: Changed his surname to Fellowes in 1794 (after succeeding to the estates of his uncle Arthur Fellowes); Member of Parliament for Andover from 1802-1820; Briefly became the 4th Earl of Portsmouth after his brother died in 1853; He unsuccessfully attempted to have his brother, the Earl, declared insane in 1814 (the Earl was eventually declared insane in 1823 at the request of the Earl's nephew) FAMILY: Was married twice and bore 7 children
