Mary Lambert MONTEITH
Another name for Mary was Molly GORE. General Notes: Her husband, Arthur Sinclair Gore, was initially a draftsman who worked for the famed Canadian architect Samuel Maclure for a time. At the age of 28 (in 1907) Arthur started the Electric Blueprint and Map Company. It was one of the first engineering supply and blueprint firms, with branches in both Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. In 1988, the Arthur Gore Home at 1502 Regents Place in Victoria (designed and built by Samuel Maclure in 1912) was designated a Heritage Site.
