OBITUARY: Bonnie Eva Ober, 87, a resident of Peabody Retirement Community, died Nov. 12, 1997 at Peabody Healthcare Center. She was born Dec. 19, 1909 in Wabash County to Otto and Nora (Helvey) Perry. She was a homemaker, married Oct. 12, 1927 to Harold B. Ober, who preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1969. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church of North Manchester.

She is survived by friends, Walter and Jerri Blocher of North Manchester. She was preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997 at the Peabody Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Schmeiser officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
