Edwin A. Stiver, 71, died at 4 a.m. Monday at his home in Farmersville, near here. He had been afflicted with asthma for several years and had been bedfast since Saturday. Born in this community, he had been a farmer until eight years ago, when he moved to Farmersville. He was a member of the United Brethren Church.
In addition to his widow, Abbie, he is survived by three sons, Paul, Middlletown and Everett and Ray of Farmersville; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Clark of Germantown and Mrs. Neva Kurta of Farmtown, and Mrs. Neva Kurtz of Farmersville, and three brothers ond three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the United Brethren Church in Farmersville, with burial in Twin Valley Cemetery. The John Arpp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
