DEATH: Died at the age of 91 at Stanleytown Health CareCenter in Henry County, Virginia.

OBITUARY:
Viola Tuggle Harris, 91, formerly of 77 Mockingbird Lane, Bassett, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at Stanleytown Health Care Center. She was the widow of Homer Torris Harris.
She was a native of Patrick County, born Sept. 29, 1911, a daughter of the late William and Ellen Hagood Tuggle.
She had been a member of Blackberry Baptist Church for 68 years and was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School class.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, two half sisters and a half brother.
Survivors include a sister, Virlie T. Joyce Hall of Martinsville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Blackberry Baptist Church with Dr. G.H. Vaughan and Tommy Joyce officiating. Burial will be in Old Center Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Blackberry Baptist Church.
Norris Funeral Services and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
