Lavinia SUMMERS
Other names for Lavinia were Levina SUMMERS and Livinia SUMMERS. General Notes: NOTES: 90 years of age at time of death. Daughter of L.W. & Elizabeth Summers, who were of German ancestry, owned a good amount of property, and had several grist mills. Lavinia married Jacob Foust, who was a farmer, and also ran a grist mill. She was the mother of one daughter, Mary, who married Joseph Bason Whitsett. One of her grandchildren was William Thornton Whitsett, who became the principal of the Whitsett Institute.
