NOTE: This is NOT the same Niels "Nels" Hansen who was born in Denmark in 1845 and migrated to the U.S. in 1864 and whose spouse was Mathilda Lovisa Olson-Hansen
NAME: There is some confusion whether his last name was HANSEN or HANSON. The 1900 and 1910 U.S. Census show HANSON, but his daughter Lydia's (Dorothy) 1901 birth certificate and 1919 marriage certificate shows HANSEN. Also, Dorothy's son Glenn's birth certificate shows HANSEN.
